We are a Nonprofit organization put together to help low-income kids with the costs associated with organized sports, specifically registration fees and equipment through fundraising activities, donations, and grants.
It is our goal at "Ahead of Tha Game" to give kids from low-income households a chance to participate in organized sports, thus giving them a better outlet to express themselves and guarantee them a better option other than what their typically accustomed to encountering in their communities.
We understand the expenses of organized sports - including registration fees for programs like Football, Basketball, Cheer leading, Soccer, and Wrestling can add up pretty fast. when you factor in essential gear such as cleats, sneakers, safety equipment etc, the financial commitment becomes even more significant.
For many families already navigating the challenges of daily life, these expenses can be a major barrier. We never want a child to feel discouraged or opt out of a team activity simply because they worry about having the right 'look' or equipment.
We here at "Ahead of Tha Game" understand the benefits of organized sports, the structure it gives the children, while also building character, teaching camaraderie, and at the same time helping them build a sense of pride. It is our wish to eliminate these obstacles and help give the youth a opportunity to finally GET IN THA GAME!

Ahead Of Tha Game is the brainchild of its founder, Aaron W. Robinson, who developed the vision while incarcerated at SCI Benner. Having grown up in Lancaster, Mr. Robinson has always believed in the power of community and taking pride in where you come from.
Through conversations with a local mentor known as Coach Twin, Mr. Robinson became aware of the ongoing struggle many youth face in obtaining the equipment needed to participate in organized sports. He quickly realized this was not just a single teams issue, but a widespread challenge affecting children across low-income communities.
Driven by a desire to be part of the solution and to create meaningful change, Mr. Robinson turned that awareness into action by developing the idea for Ahead Of Tha Game.
With the support of a dedicated board, Ahead Of Tha Game is proud to be a nonprofit organization committed to helping youth from low-income households get involved in organized sports. We work to reduce financial barriers by assisting with registration fees, equipment costs, and other expenses that often prevent participation.
